The Israel Patent Authority has announced that it would accelerate commencement of examination of patent applications aimed at the diagnosis, treatment, prevention, or eradication of the Coronavirus. These applications will be considered as “green” applications, and examination will commence within 3 months of the application being classified as “green”.
