Jonathan Topper

Jonathan came to Israel in 1986 from the UK, where, after graduation, he worked in industry in high voltage electrical systems engineering, subsequently moving to CAD programming, which was then very much in its infancy. From there, he moved to a computer software consultancy, assisting engineers in simulations of electrical circuits and power systems.

On arriving in Israel, he started working for Reinhold Cohn and Partners, where he qualified as a patent attorney in 1989, later becoming a partner in the Hi-Tech Group. He then moved as a partner to a small boutique firm in Jerusalem, from which he retired at the end of 2021.

He has now moved full circle and brings some 36 years of experience in drafting and prosecution in a wide range of technical disciplines both in Israel and abroad. He has served numerous times as an Examiner for the Patent Attorney Qualifying Examinations in Israel.
