90 Years of IP Excellence

We feel very proud and thankful to mark 90 years of the Reinhold Cohn Group.

In May of 1934, Dr. Reinhold Cohn, a German Jewish patent attorney who had to flee from the Nazi regime, arrived in Tel Aviv and opened a small office. In those days industry was scarce, and the universities were still young. It required a great deal of vision and belief to establish a patent attorneys’ firm in mandatory Palestine, anticipating the declaration of Israel as an independent state. We have always been proud of the legacy of this vision and are even more proud when our nation faces the challenges of the current turbulent times.

Dr. Reinhold Cohn’s vision became our reality for nine decades. Our formers, us, and our successors shall ever be thankful and indebted to him.  Over the years, Reinhold Cohn Group has grown and become the largest IP firm in Israel. Our group supports hundreds of families and contributes to Israel’s global prominence.

The development of Reinhold Cohn is intertwined with the development of Israel’s industry and innovation ecosystem. As the leading IP firm in Israel, Reinhold Cohn has been involved in numerous cutting-edge inventions originating from Israel in various facets of the civil industry as well as Homeland Security, from drip irrigation to ballistic missile interception. At the same time, Reinhold Cohn has served and is serving the leading innovative overseas companies in introducing the technologies to the benefit of the Israeli market.

This would not have happened if not for the fact that during the 90 years that have passed since then, the legacy of Reinhold Cohn, his commitment to high standards, and his ability to fuse idealism with deeds have borne fruit with the leaders and members of the firm that followed him. The high standards set by Reinhold Cohn and his legacy are a source of inspiration for us, and we feel committed to pursuing them.

As we mark 90 years of the Reinhold Cohn Group, especially in this challenging time for Israel, let it be a day of celebration, a source of inspiration for better days ahead of peace and prosperity for all.
