Dr. Ilya Shlar

Ilya is a patent attorney in the Reinhold Cohn group’s Life Science and Chemistry practice. He holds a B.Sc. in Biochemistry and M.Sc. in Molecular Biology from Bar Ilan University, M.Sc. In Materials Chemistry from the Weizmann Institute of Science and a PhD in Biochemistry from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In addition to his academic background, Ilya has more than a decade of industrial experience in the biotechnology sector.

Ilya has extensive experience in various subfields of chemistry and life sciences, including nanotechnology, surface chemistry, materials chemistry, instrumental methods of chemical analysis, proteomics, biochemistry, and molecular biology.
